Goals for VNPA

• Increase membership to at least 30% of Vermont NPs. Improve outreach to students, former members, other APRNs

• Bi-Annual Newsletter.

• Increase participation in and utilization of the listserv.

• Increased participation of VNPA members in committee activity

• Executive Board members to meet with regional groups or individual NPs at least once.

• Improve VNPA visibility in healthcare reform.

• Public education campaign on NPs. Focus on general public and legislators.

• Autonomous Practice Workgroup to finalize language for rules change in consultation with membership, other APRNs, legal advisors, Board of Nursing, and VHA.
