Position Description

Burlington, VT: We invite a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a highly respected INPATIENT mental health team in this popular and progressive New England city. The employer is an esteemed academic medical center providing a wide range of healthcare services, including a strong psychiatric program. You will join a respected group of psychiatrists, physician residents, social workers, therapists, nurses and mental health technicians caring for patients experiencing acute episodes of psychiatric illnesses, often with complex accompanying medical problems. Your broad scope role includes performing risk assessments and making evaluations, development treatment plans, managing medications, counseling families, and providing support for inpatient care.

Enjoy a convenient day shift schedule working 9am - 5pm! You will be supported by an experienced clinical and office team, a fully integrated EMR, and excellent administrative leadership.
