Position Description

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is seeking a Regional Advanced Practice Clinician (NP, PA, CNM) to join our Clinical staff to provide backup coverage and full service reproductive health care for women and men of all ages within Central & Southern Vermont. This position has flexibility to be based out of Rutland, VT, Bennington, VT or White River Junction, VT. This position will offer an average of 30 hours/week with the option to flex up. Clinical shifts that range from 3-5 shifts a week at various sites and hours.   Most shifts are 7-8 hours long plus travel. The option of fulltime benefits or a shift pay differential of $8/hour on top of the base pay. Generous travel reimbursement and the opportunity to network with other clinicians across our affiliate are included.

Our regional practitioners perform all the duties of a PPNNE Advanced Practice Clinician while traveling and gaining experience at multiple sites. In addition to broad based knowledge of women’s health, clinical skills and experience, we require a commitment to customer service, flexibility, initiative, creative thinking and a willingness to learn. This position requires a flexible candidate be able to work and travel on an as-needed basis. Candidates should have proven success as a member of a team, be willing to participate in constant and ongoing feedback with colleague and be eager to work with a diverse population. Excellent counseling and teaching skills are also required. Candidates need to feel comfortable working solo in a small supportive team. Strong Computer skills and experience with EHR preferred. 

Qualifications include a Master’s degree & VT licensure, completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program or CNM, 1-3 yrs experience in women's health, full service reproductive health care for women and men and broad based clinical GYN knowledge and skills. Other requirements include a familiarity with and ability to comfortably discuss all services provided by PPNNE. Comprehensive salary and benefits are available.
