Human Trafficing in the Healthcare Setting - Survey request!

Posted about 8 years ago by Callan Janowiec

Human Trafficking in the Healthcare Setting:

You are being invited to participate in a brief survey about human trafficking, conducted by Jen Makrides, 4th year medical student at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and Dr. Erica J. Gibson, MD, University of Vermont Children's Hospital and Vermont Child Health Improvement Project (VCHIP). The purpose of the study is to assess healthcare provider knowledge of human trafficking and whether providers in Vermont have contact with suspected victims.

The survey should take approximately 2 minutes to complete. At the completion of the survey you will have the choice to exit the survey or complete an 8-slide educational presentation on human trafficking, followed by a short post-assessment. As part of the study you will be asked to assess your knowledge of human trafficking and indicate whether you believe you have encountered victims while working in Vermont. All questions and the optional educational component are administered online, and you may omit any questions you prefer not to answer. At the completion of the study you will be directed to a page with links to resources on human trafficking.
