Offering preceptorship at CVMC Cardiology where we manage an inpatient/outpatient service and care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions as well as intra-cardiac devices. We work closely with various sub-specialties in coordinating advanced cardiac diagnostics and interventions across the UVM Health Network and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

It is helpful to come with some cardiology background or at least a basic understanding of cardiac rhythm and 12 lead EKG interpretation as well as some knowledge regarding cardiac medications. Suggest review of guidelines set forth by the American College of Cardiology in order for your experience to be more engaging.

A busy Family Practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center

I see/manage urgent care, minor surgeries, biopsies, pediatrics/adolescents; hospice care, depression and anxiety, complicated medical issues and whatever comes in our doors

Family medicine office, private practice. We see patients from newborn to geriatrics. I provide primary care, sick visits, and perform minor in-office procedures.

I work 4 days a week, and I can probably accommodate a student 2 days a week.

I work as a Hospitalist at Rutland Regional Medical Center In my role, I admit patients, provide care to hospitalized patients, provide medical consults.attend weekly psychiatric rounds finally I am a member of multiple committees representing NPs at the hospital. I have extensive preceptor experience. I have taught at a local community college. My practice interests include geriatric medicine and as such, I work per diem at a long long term care facility .

I have critical care experience and urgent care experience. I am currently working on a QI project in collaboration with ER/ICU/PCU teams and leadership. The hospital offers many opportunities for a NP student to learn assessment skills,hone their critical thinking skills and to participate in all aspects of acute care NP delivery systems.
