Posted almost 8 years ago by Amy O'Meara

Dear Advanced Practice Registered Nurse,

You are being asked to be a volunteer in a research study. The purpose of the study is to explore the impact of individual state policies and other factors on the ability of Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) prescribers to deliver effective pain management. The study intends to enroll APRN from the all states using state APRN organization membership lists.

If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete an anonymous, one time, online survey about safe opioid prescribing beliefs and practices that will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous; no identifying information will be collected.

Your participation is voluntary. There are no costs or risks of participating, and there may be no benefits to you personally. Please note that your participation or nonparticipation will have no effect your status within your APRN professional organization. The results of this survey may benefit APRN education, scope of practice, and care of patients with chronic pain.

If you would like to participate, please click on the link below to take the survey within the next 2 weeks. By completing this survey you are providing consent to participate in this online anonymous study.
