Opioid Exposed Infants in the Outpatient Setting Needs Assessment

Posted about 7 years ago by Amy O'Meara

Dear Colleague,

We are conducting a needs assessment survey among Vermont family and pediatric health care providers to determine what gaps or barriers exist to providing optimal care for opioid exposed infants in the outpatient setting. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey, it should take less than 10 minutes, and you will find it at the following link:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NRPTGJ3

The project is part of the ICON (Improving Care of Opioid-exposed Newborns) project at the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program (VCHIP) and has been designated as “Not Research” by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Vermont. The ICON project partners with the Vermont Department of Health and the University of Vermont Children's Hospital to improve health outcomes for opioid-exposed newborns. The team provides support to health care professionals who care for this population, including conducting training sessions and providing evidence-based tools and resources to improve care.

If you have any questions about the survey you may contact Molly Rideout, MD (molly.rideout@uvmhealth.org) or Adrienne Woike (Adrienne.woike@med.uvm.edu).

Many thanks for participating!
