Congressional Opioid Hearings - MAKE NP PRESCRIBING MAT PERMANENT

Last Wednesday, Congress continued its focus on the opioid epidemic with the House Energy and Commerce Committee as well as the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee holding markups aimed at addressing the crisis. We encourage members to continue sending messages from the AANP Advocacy Center, urging elected officials to support making permanent NPs’ ability to prescribe MATs. AANP will monitor and provide updates as legislation surrounding the opioid crisis continues to take shape.
