Green Mountain Care Board seeking new Primary Care Advisory Group members - deadline extended

Posted almost 6 years ago by Martha Whitfield

The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) is extending a request for applications for their Primary Care Advisory Group (PCAG), to serve as a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of the GMCB. Primary care providers (MD, DO, NP, PA, etc.) interested in joining the group are encouraged to submit an application consisting of a resume/CV and a brief cover letter expressing interest to GMCB Chairman Mullin (Kevin.Mullin@vermont.gov) and Michele Lawrence (Michele.K.Lawrence@vermont.gov) by July 15th, 2018.

The applicant must be a practicing or retired primary care provider. In selecting applicants, special attention will be paid to ensure that the group has representation from various categories and types of practitioners, practice venues, and geographic locations. The PCAG will meet bi-monthly, likely from 5-7pm on Wednesdays, with the possibility of additional meetings to be scheduled as needed. Members are expected to participate regularly in the meetings, in person or by phone, and may be required to review materials in advance. Members are expected to communicate with their colleagues and constituents about the activities and progress of the PCAG and to represent their organizations and constituencies during meetings and activities.
