VNPA 2021 Virtual Conference: Session Spot light: To ER or not to ER, that is the question

Posted about 3 years ago by Katherine Goyette

Concurrent session:

To ER or not to ER, that is the question: Common complaints, when do you need a higher level of care? Douglas Fish, PA-C, The Ellis Hospital, NY

This session is a case-based lecture exploring chest pain and abdominal pain complaints presenting in office and urgent care patients, focusing on when emergent evaluation at a higher level of care is warranted. Doug brings his background in high-risk cardiac surgical ICU care as well as 6 years in the ED to offer clinical pearls for making the decision to escalate care.
