Morning plenary session: Lord have MRSA! Clinical Pearls for Antibiotic Selection for Your Sick Patient, Dr Timothy Whitman, UVMMC
This session will review common infectious disease syndromes encountered in the outpatient setting, provide updates in antimicrobial resistance patterns in bacterial pathogens and look at what is new in antibiotic drug development. Dr Whitman brings his experience from a career in infectious disease for the Navy in Washington D.C. and at UVMMC to provide clinicians with up to date knowledge for evidence based antibiotic selection.
