VNPA 2021 Virtual Conference: Session Spot light: Connection for Prevention: Assessing youth strengths and risk
Concurrent Session: Connection for Prevention: Assessing youth strengths and risk
Dr Michelle Shepard
The annual adolescent well-care visit (AWCV) is a critical time for clinicians to connect with youth to promote active involvement in their own healthcare. The AWCV is not just a "physical" or visit for sports participation clearance, it's an opportunity to screen for medical, emotional, and social risks and strengths and provide non-judgmental accurate information to adolescents about their health.
Join fellow nurse practitioners on Friday, May 21, 2021 for a COVID-safe virtual educational gathering; gain up to 7 CE credits for the day, interact with your peers, visit vendors online, and enjoy all of this from the comfort of your home while wearing your slippers. With the ongoing global pandemic, the VNPA is excited to offer an online conference in lieu of our usual conference. We have a great slate of speakers on a variety of topics. Final agenda posted under attachments on the conference registration site.
