Good day all!
I am part of a research team studying how food self-provisioning practices (gardening, hunting, fishing, foraging) interact with food security and health outcomes. We are conducting interviews with key informants to supplement the results of our online survey. Your work as nurse practitioners makes you a good candidate to serve as one of these key informants.
Participation would entail conducting an interview, in person or virtually, by a member of our research team. The interview would take up to one hour and would include questions about how you see food self-provisioning and sharing help, or hinder, food security and other aspects of health, and how these things have evolved through the Covid-19 pandemic in the community you work in. A study info sheet is attached. If you are interested in participating or have any questions please email Sam Bliss at samcbliss@gmail.com, a member of my study team. Thank you for considering it! Take care,
Jennifer Laurent
