Support Proposed Increase to Medicaid Reimbursement for Primary Care   

Please urge Vermont lawmakers to support a proposed increase in Medicaid rates that will help sustain primary care services! 

The House Health Care Committee will be voting next Tuesday on whether to support a recommendation from the Vermont Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) that would align Medicaid’s Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) fee schedule with Medicare's rates and would result in a $4,716,275 increase in Medicaid payments for January to June 2022 (the second half of the state fiscal year) and a $9,309,448 increase over the full 2022.

Now is a critical time for Vermont to invest in primary care!
Please tell lawmakers to support an increase Medicaid reimbursement in the FY22 Budget Adjustment. Let them know how this funding could impact your practice and help primary care survive during this critical time.
