Hi Everyone,
As we continue to be able to provider Home Health services to our patients I wanted to share a document that Bayada put together for the CMS guideline around ordering.
This includes the Homebound Criteria - it is not what you may think!! - Many patients actually qualify
The requirements for the Face-to-Face encounter
Lastly some great examples of the CMS requirement for the home health documentation to include the
underlying cause or diagnosis that supports the need for skilled services.
Remember even 1 visit in the home of your patient by a Skilled service RN/PT/OT/ST is a step to helping your patients.
