TERESA THOMAS “TERRY” FULMER, PHD, RN, FAAN

Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the President of The John A. Hartford Foundation in New York City, a foundation dedicated to improving the care of older adults. Established in 1929, the Foundation has a current endowment of more than half a billion dollars.

The continued PURPOSE of the NREBP Symposium is to provide a forum for nurses (staff, students, educators, administrators, researchers), regardless of their experience in conducting nursing research, to learn more about the evolving realm of nursing knowledge.

MISSION: Novice to expert, the regional venue provides a platform for nurses to present and showcase their research, evidence based practice and quality improvement projects. The Symposium provides a supportive environment for novice nurses to submit their abstracts and hone presentation skills. For the expert in nursing research, quality improvement and evidence-based practice, it provides opportunity to showcase their exemplar work and move their nursing practice forward to enhance patient and family outcomes.
