Here are some recent updates from AANP:
Extension of the Public Health Emergency
Yesterday, July 15, 2022, the United States Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra issued a “Renewal of Determination That A Public Health Emergency Exists”. This PHE declaration will be in effect for a duration of 90 days. In guidance and communications, HHS has committed to a 60 day advance notice period for the termination of the PHE, should they determine one no longer exists.
