The Office of Professional Regulation would like to provide the Vermont Board of Nursing contact information for your convenience as it has changed.
Updated email address
The most efficient way to reach our office is through either our contact us page on our website or by e-mailing directly to SOS.OPRLicensing1@Vermont.gov. There are multiple staff members that manage this e-mail box. We work through every case in the order received, multiple inquiries could delay response. We strive to respond within 1-2 business days of receipt during normal business hours.
Applications
If you have recently submitted an application or renewal, or other request through your online account, please allow up to 5 business days from the date of receipt for the office to process. The real-time status of your application is available in your Online Services Account. Please note that we can only speak directly with the licensee or applicant regarding their accounts or applications.

If you call our office, please use the profession specific lines and allow up to 24-48 hours for a returned call from our office should you need to leave a message. Please note it is recommended you use the specific e-mail address above as a primary means to contact our office.
- For RN and International Nurse questions please call 802-828-2396.
- For LPN, LNA, MNA and APRN questions please call 802-828-1503.
Normal office hours are 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday excluding Federal and State holidays.
