Keynote Session: Empowering NP Voice: Speak Truth with Power
Jessica Peck, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CNE, CNL, FAANP, FAAN
Nurse practitioners are rising as an innovative, disruptive tidal wave force in healthcare. As a profession of more than 355,000 strong, individual and collective NP voice is a growing influencer in patient care arenas, policy forums, and organizational hierarchies. It is imperative that NPs lead the way in health systems reform and delivery, speaking truth to power structures and stewarding the trust of the public.
Dr. Jessica Peck is an expert pediatric nurse practitioner who provides innovative, visionary, and award-winning leadership to develop and lead inclusive and diverse interprofessional teams. She is an internationally recognized anti-trafficking expert. Dr. Peck is currently a Clinical Professor of Nursing at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. She holds active credentials as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Educator, and Clinical Nurse Leader.
