Thursday Workshop: Spots and Dots: Dermatology in Primary Care

Dermatology is like a fill-in-the -blank test. Either you know it or you don’t. It can seem hard with so many lumps, bumps, and skin growths. Then there’s the red itchy rashes! This talk is designed to talk about the conditions you’re most likely to see in primary care practice and help you evaluate and treat them with confidence.

Allen Gifford is a 2001 graduate of the PA program at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH. He has practiced dermatology his entire PA career, working at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Duke University Medical Center, and the Durham VA Medical Center. He lives in Hillsborough, NC with his wife and son.
