Opioid and Substance Use Treatment Training Scholarship Program

The Rural Center of Excellence on SUD Treatment at the University of Vermont Center on Rural Addiction (UVM CORA) is offering a program specifically designed to assist providers who are less experienced or new to treating patients with OUD in becoming more comfortable with this domain of patient care. The Opioid and Substance Use Treatment Training Scholarship Program offers:
- 2-day intensive all expenses-paid program for rural primary care practices
- Small group instruction for members from 3 competitively chosen Vermont practices
- Instruction on pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of opioid and other substance use disorders
- Training that satisfies the one-time, 8-hour, substance use treatment training requirement for all DEA registered practitioners
- Free CMEs
The program will be held in Burlington, VT on January 30-31, 2025
