I am reaching back out about my qualitative study looking at NPs who do not currently prescribe buprenorphine. You were kind enough to offer to connect me with potential NP participants - I think we also chatted briefly about this at the AANP conference this past summer.
The survey can also be accessed by clicking on this link: https://umassdartmouth.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1AgNrYzGXDspOsu
For this study, I am looking at the experiences of nurse practitioners who work in rural primary care and do not prescribe buprenorphine for opioid use disorder. The focus is on NPs working in New England. The study is funded by a small grant from American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
The study involves completion of a short survey, and for those NPs selected for interview, one interview of 60-90 minutes. I am offering an incentive of $125 for each completed interview.
Thanks so much again for reading and considering. Any links to NPs who might be eligible and interested would be greatly appreciated. I am of course happy to send you any additional information. Potential participants with questions can also email me at mwhitfield@umassd.edu.
With very best wishes,
Martha
