I am looking for a clinical preceptor for the coming fall and/or spring semester (200 hours each semester). I can promise you a rich and rewarding experience.

I am a young, positive, energetic, and hard working student. I have a thirst for knowledge and an open mind. I am a quick learner and an independent student. I possess a warm, compassionate beside manner. The ever-growing older adult population has become my favorite cohort of patients to work with for their ever evolving care plans. I also love to teach nursing. This past semester, I had the amazing opportunity to do so with the University of Vermont's BSN program. I am under contract for the coming fall & spring semester.

My five-year goals are; to be working in a primary care with the adult and geriatric population, to continue teaching our future nurses, and to pursue my PhD. I am currently attending the George Washington University, working towards my Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree. My program has been ranked by the U.S. News as the best graduate nursing online program in the country. As a distance-learning student I am tasked with locating my own clinical sites and preceptors. There are only a small number of opportunities for these positions in this area due to the saturation of students from the local university.

I would be honored if you would consider taking me on as a student.
