The VITL Summit is one of New England's top conferences for the health information technology industry. VITL hosts this annual educational conference—now in its eighth year—for physicians, nurses, other clinicians, practice managers, quality improvement professionals, hospital CIOs and IT staff, and anyone interested in electronic health record systems and health information technology. It is organized by Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc. (VITL), a nonprofit organization that assists providers with selecting and implementing electronic health records, and responsible for developing and implementing the statewide health information exchange network.

Summit Theme: Informing Health Care Decisions. The Summit will provide opportunities for health care providers to understand the latest developments in health IT at both the state and national level. Dr. Karen DeSalvo, National Coordinator for Health IT, will deliver the keynote and provide a national perspective.

Objective: Health care providers will learn how to better integrate health IT into their practice workflow. Attendees will be engaged in timely topics ranging from health information exchange, provider portals, state and national health care reform efforts, and keeping pace in an ever changing world of reporting requirements.

Health care and industry professionals are invited to register for this opportunity to connect with experts and colleagues alike. Learn or stay informed about how information technology is helping us make better health care decisions.
