A HUGE thank you to all the folks that emailed Congressman Peter Welch regarding HR 2536 Recovery Enhancement for Addiction Treatment Act or the TREAT Act -(https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/2536 ) Congressman Welch is now a co-sponsor of this legislation! The bill is in committee so keep those letters of support coming to both senators as well as Peter as we move ever closer to changing the rules regarding NPs ability to prescribe suboxone for opioid treatment.
